Used Pool Cleaners

Author: Theodore Category: Pool Cleaners

If you are maintaining your pool on a budget, you might be in the market for used pool cleaners and filters. A filter is essential for creating proper quality in your pool water. It reduces algae and helps to maintain the proper pH level, calcium hardness and alkalinity. But even the best of filters will leave some debris and dirt in the pool, so a pool cleaner should be used at least once a week.

Cleaning a pool can take a great deal of time, if you're not accustomed to the job. You can purchase new or used in ground or above ground pool cleaners, which will help to keep the pool its cleanest at all times, so you can enjoy it. This free time will make your pool seem like a more worthwhile investment.

The difference between above ground and in ground pool cleaners basically refers to range and structure. The technology used by each is basically the same. In ground pool cleaners are made so that they can work from their submerged position on deeper water. In ground pool cleaners are less expensive to buy, and they work in their own way to keep the water of your pool clean.

A suction pool cleaner uses the suction generated by your filter to create a vacuum that works with your cleaner. This type is the least expensive, and is relatively easy to operate. Large debris might cause a clog in the skimmer, so you may want to run the net through the pool first, to remove anything too big for the skimmer to tolerate. Work with the set-ups and settings to make sure your cleaner does the entire pool. If you have mostly dirt rather than debris in your pool, a suction cleaner will work well for you. It is reliable and cheap, and works the best for the owner of a smaller pool, or for casual owners.

Pressure side used pool cleaners use the water pressure from the hose that returns water to your pool from the filter, to help drive your pool cleaner through the water. It attaches via a hose, to help filter dirt from your pool. The collection bag on a pressure side cleaner will also help to reduce the strain that cleaning has on your filter, which will increase the lifetime and functionality of the filter. Empty the bag often enough that the pool cleaner works to its most effective level. If your pump doesn't produce enough pressure to operate this cleaner, you may need a booster bump.

Robotic pool cleaners have their own filtration system that is self-contained, and it operates independently of the filter and pump. These cleaners will clear up your pool more effectively and quickly than other cleaners. You can operate or program these by remote control, which helps you customize the cleaning to your pool. If you have a large pool that may be more difficult to clean, you can purchase robotic used pool cleaners to keep the water clean and clear.
